Rainy days have a way of slowing everything down…

and lately, I’ve come to love that. 🌧️

As a Nana, I’ve found that some of the sweetest moments with my granddaughter happen on these quiet, cozy afternoons ~ when we’re not rushing anywhere, not checking a screen, just sitting side by side doing something simple together.

So today, I wanted to share something special with you…a free printable fairy coloring page, perfect for a cozy afternoon with your grandchild.

If you’re anything like me, you don’t need elaborate plans to make a moment meaningful.  This is a simple way to make a memory.  Sometimes all it takes is a printed page, a handful of crayons or markers (the washable kind!), and a little time together.

And when it’s a fairy? It opens the door to imagination in the most magical way. 

One of the things I treasure most is watching my granddaughter's imagination come to life. While she is still young, for those a bit older, you could talk about: 

• what the fairy’s name might be
• where she lives
• what kind of magic she has

Sometimes the stories turn out silly, sometimes they’re sweet… but every time, they become *ours*.

And those are the moments to hold onto!
